OFF THE BLOG
First of all, if you have visited my blog before, you’ll notice that things are a little different this week. I decided last week that I was going to move my blog over to WordPress from Blogger. I’m really happy with the change and am looking forward to seeing how things go from here.
This has been a pretty good week.
I picked up an extra shift at work on Monday, so that’ll definitely help my next paycheck. I’m going to have to give up my Tuesday nights starting in October because of a conflicting class schedule, so I’m trying to save up as much as I can before then.
On Wednesday I took the boys to their Pokemon league. There is a new set of cards out so I bought each of them a pack. Chris ended up getting a pretty rare card, so he was happy about that. They are getting really good at playing the card game.
On Thursday, I went up to the college so I could buy the books for my classes and a bookbag. I didn’t realize textbooks were so expensive. Sheesh! I can’t believe I’ll start classes in 8 days. I’m really starting to get excited. I’m taking 2 required classes and then 3 classes for my degree this semester. I’m ready to get started! 🙂
One of my coworkers is a consultant with Arbonne (health and wellness company) and she gave me a 30 day supply of their protein shake powder to try out. I can do one shake a day for 30 days or two shakes a day for 15 days. I’m going all in and am doing the two shakes a day. I started this morning and the shake is really good! I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of results I end up with.
I’d say that this is a pretty accurate description. haha!
