OFF THE BLOG
This week was pretty uneventful. I’m still getting back into the groove of being back in school after such a long time. I’m trying to balance school and all the work and studying that comes with that, being a mom, being a wife, working part time, and blogging. Let me tell you…it’s not easy! Whew. I’m having to channel superwoman.
On Thursday, Logan got to go to the school and meet his teacher for this year. He has been hoping all summer that he would get the teacher Chris had in 4th grade, Mrs. Walker. Logan ended up not getting Mrs. Walker, but he is still happy with the teacher he got, so that’s fine with me. 🙂 As long as Logan is happy, I don’t care.
Chris had a half-day on Friday. It was just for the sixth graders. They got their schedules and practiced switching classes and things like that. That afternoon, I got to go and meet his teachers. His homebase teacher seems to be pretty nice and I liked his teachers for his other subjects also. He’s really excited about starting band this year.
(Can you believe my 11 year old is nearly as tall as I am?! Ahh! Time slow down!)
In our child development class, we had to choose a side in a debate topic and will be presenting our side tomorrow in class. I’m really stressing about having to get up in front of everyone, but hopefully it goes okay.
I have an exam in my math class tomorrow. Fingers crossed that I pass!!
WEEKLY FUNNY
Truth!
Good job balancing all that! Think you’re doing great though 🙂 have a great reading week!
Enjoy your juggling act.
It is amazing to see those kids grow taller and taller. All of my sons were taller than I when they were in high school…and now the grandkids are doing the same…growing tall.
My youngest grandson just started high school, and he is taller than I am.
Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Good luck with your presentation and exam! Sounds like you’ve got a lot on your plate but at least you have some good books to fall back on if you need a break!
My youngest son hasn’t quite reached my height. He’s 13. I’m 5’8″ so it will probably only take him another year or two to get there. My oldest son is 6’3″ and towers over all of us. My 17 yr daughter is the shorty, and the 13 yr old is taller than her. It’s amazing how fast they grow!
Have a great week 🙂
