OFF THE BLOG
This week has been pretty stressful.
My husband’s car has a leak in the radiator so we’ve been having to share my van all week. Yeah. Imagine trying to get him back and forth to work, me and my two kids back and forth to school, and me to work in one vehicle. Not fun. Thankfully my dad is going to pay to have it fixed, so we should be back to a two vehicle household sometime this week.
I had my doctor’s appointment on Friday. I don’t have health insurance so I’m limited on the doctor’s that will see me. The doctor I go to has never really given me any help or answers about my health problems and this one was no different. She dismissed my concerns and I’m not any better off than I was before my appointment. I’m just going to have to take the best care of myself that I can and hope that whatever is wrong with me doesn’t kill me. 🙁 That’s a really scary feeling.
I’ve been trying to work ahead in my online class and over the last couple of days I’ve turned in all my assignments up until the end of October, so I’ve got a pretty good lead going there. In about a week I’ll be starting two new classes so I want to make sure I have as much work finished as possible so it isn’t so overwhelming when my new classes start. I can’t believe I’m already halfway through my first semester of college. I’ll be graduating before I know it! 🙂
Chick-Fil-A was hosting a rock painting party for the kids the other day, so I took Chris and Logan. That was their first time painting a rock so they had a lot of fun with it. After they were finished, the employees gave out coupons for a free kids meal. Chris and Logan went ahead and redeemed theirs right then. 😉 They love Chick-Fil-A.
I’m so sorry the doctor dismissed you. I know what it’s like not having insurance. They herd you through like cattle and then because they’re not making money off of you they could care less. It’s saddening and frustrating.
Yes it is. 🙁 I wish there was a better system in place for people who need care but can’t afford it.
I totally agree. While the ACA was a nice idea, I do think it needs revamped. I hope our leaders can figure something out and soon.
I hope your week gets better.
That’s terrible about your doctor.
Take care, and I hope you can read something to brighten things up.

Sorry your week was stressful. Sad that the doctors don’t seem to want to listen and help. Glad your school work is going well. Happy Reading while you struggle through life!
