Synopsis

There are times when the Earth stops moving and the weight of its gravity pulls you down, deeper than you ever thought possible. You tumble farther than you ever imagined falling…
And when the sun goes black and your heart feels empty, starting over seems like an impossible feat…
You’re not alone.
Twenty-Two Authors have joined together in this collection of short stories about fresh starts and second chances to help illustrate that even when life takes away everything, and when hope is a horizon you think you’ll never catch, it is possible to Begin Again.

My Review:

Falling by Stephanie Rose
5 out of 5 stars
I love that Jack Jr. got his own story! That made my heart so happy when I found out. But then my heart shattered for him after finding out what he had to go through. I could feel his pain and frustration. We always seem to take it out on the ones we love, don’t we? I am glad that his father was able to talk a little bit of sense into him though. 😉 I loved Danielle’s character. It was so cute how she got a little awkward and nervous around Jack.

Waiting for Autumn by JA DeRouen
5 out of 5 stars
Oh my goodness, how this story ripped my heart open. When fun between friends takes a tragic turn – where do you go from there? I felt so badly for everyone involved, especially Sebastian. I can’t imagine having to live with that kind of guilt. However, he took the hand that life dealt him and did something with it. I’m so proud that he made something of himself and tried to make amends, even if certain people didn’t want to heart it. Autumn and Sebastian were everything I didn’t even know I needed! I loved them so much. I hope we get to see more from them in the future because I need to know how things turn out between them!

Eden’s Goodbye by Faith Andrews
5 out of 5 stars
Oh my word, I knew this story was going to be painful to read since I read Garden of Goodbyes last year. You could really feel the pain that Eden was going through and my heart broke for her so much. I just wanted to reach through my kindle and give her a massive hug. Joy is absolutely everything! She knew Eden needed someone even though she tried to come across like she didn’t and wouldn’t take no for an answer. We all need that kind of friend. We all need a Joy in our life. I’m so happy that Eden had Mason and Joy to get her through her difficult time and to move on with her life so she could start living for herself.
